A Safe Place Operates with These Beliefs

Everyone has the right to a violence-free, safe and healthy life.  Early intervention, prevention education, domestic violence & human trafficking education, and community awareness can interrupt the intergenerational cycle of violence and reduce the social acceptance of domestic violence & human trafficking.  

In 2021, A Safe Place saw about 50-70 people each week.  That is double the usual pre-pandemic numbers.  For 2021, they served a total of 407 -a 104% increase over 2019.
