WEAVE, INC. was established in 1978 as a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to
serve domestic violence survivors and their families in Sacramento County, CA.
In 1988, WEAVE added services to help survivors of sexual assault and remains the sole
Rape Crisis Center in Sacramento County. In 2009, WEAVE became part of the local
Rescue & Restore Coalition and began providing services to domestic and international
victims of human trafficking. Today, WEAVE implements a continuum of crisis intervention,
therapeutic and prevention services to meet the unique needs of survivors, their families,
and the community.” “WEAVE’s services include a 24-hour Support & Information Line,
a confidential emergency safehouse, walk-in triage services, therapeutic counseling
services, legal advocacy, and youth and community prevention education programs.
The organization has grown from a small, grassroots organization to a nationally-recognized
agency. “ WEAVE is a repeat shelter for us and they would love to have more slippers
and washcloths from us!!

For WEAVE’s Safehouse shelter, we would like to request pledges for the following:

Challenge #37 - 2016 for the Crisis Center of Dodge City in Kansas completed in less than one day!   Our members are absolutely SUPER!   

Rachel has been working behind-the-scene contacting shelters and is currently waiting to hear back from them.   Hopefully, we will have a new challenge in a few days or by early next week.    Keep checking back here or on our Facebook page for the next one!

In the meantime, you can always add to your finished slipper and washcloth stash so you are ready to make a pledge when the next challenge is posted.

CRISIS CENTER OF DODGE CITY

****CHALLENGE COMPLETED****

We are re-visiting the Crisis Center of Dodge City in Kansas! We sent many pairs of slippers and washcloths to them this time last year and they would love to have more from us.

Except for the women’s and teen boy’s sizes, please use colors suitable for either girls or boys for the remaining size categories.
