CITRUS ABUSE SHELTER ASSOCIATION (CASA)

“Educate, Intervene, Empower.” CASA was established in 1983 with local volunteers who had a mission to empower victims of domestic violence to become independent. Between July 1, 2017-June 20, 2018, they provided services to 1,261 survivors of domestic violence, developed 1,462 safety plans, provided 7,023 shelter nights, and answered 958 crisis/emergency phone calls. To show our support, PSP would like to send the following:

PET COZIES ***Pet blankets may be knitted, crocheted, or sewn, but must be washable! Knitted or crocheted blankets should be a tight weave and fairly thick (use several strands together or a single strand of #5 or #6 bulky yarn.) Suitable fabrics are denim, flannel, heavy cotton with batting in between layers and stitched from corner to corner so the batting doesn’t bunch up when washed.***
